The product

BidBox was an execution service that coordinated exchange APIs, futures orders, positions, and a strategy that managed long and short exposure as market conditions changed.

My work

I led the service work around trade inputs, exchange adapters, and order or position models. The implementation is split across the BidBox Trades, BidBox Exchanges, BidBox Accounts, and Bidbox BitgetMS repositories.

Engineering surface

The service boundary is the interesting part of this project. An exchange adapter translates an external API into an internal order model; the execution layer coordinates order state and position state without treating a request as settled before the exchange confirms it. The service used Go, Gorilla HTTP/WebSocket packages, GORM, and exchange integrations.
