The product

Stripes was a mobile music product for artists and listeners. It brought together artist uploads, discovery, favorites, audio and video playback, subscriptions, chat, and an artist earnings path. It was an independent music platform.

My work

I worked on the React Native application across player, queue, playlist, artist, favorites, subscription, and community flows.

Engineering notes

The app used React Native, Firebase, Redux, Track Player, React Native Video, in-app purchases, and chat-related services. Media playback and subscription state needed to remain distinct so listeners could keep using the player while account or billing state changed.

Links and status

The Stripes repository provides a working reference for the mobile implementation. The original publisher and store links are no longer available.
